The DT-3, a high-speed drill and tap machine, retains the compact footprint of the DT-2 while offering extended X-axis travel of 36" (914mm), 8" (203mm) more than its predecessor. Longer X-axis movement enables easier handling of multiple fixtures, longer parts, and extended extrusions. Its robust BT30 tapered inline direct drive spindle provides 10,000rpm, enabling high-speed rigid tapping. A swift 20+1 tool changer and high speed of 2,400ipm, along with advanced acceleration rates, reduce cycle and non-cutting times.
