Extension Kit for 7400 Series, 2-3/8", "designed for aluminum jambs and stiles, opens electrically under 35 lbs. of preload. Electric Strikes 7400, 7401 with 4-7/8" faceplates, compatible with Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets having 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection.
- Safety Mode Selection: Choose between fail-safe and fail-secure at installation
- Case Dimensions: Approximately 1" x 3-3/8" x 1-1/16" deep
- Door Lip Compatibility: Basic 7400 model fits 1-3/4" thick doors. Lip extension kits available for varied door thicknesses or jamb shapes. Not compatible with 7401 model
- Bolt Retention: 5/8" adjustable strike opening, 1-7/16" x 1/2" deep, with stainless steel bolt retainer jaw. Accepts bolts from Adams Rite 4500, 4700, or 4900 deadlatches or cylindrical latches
- Faceplate Size: Measures 1-1/4" x 4-7/8"
- Voltage Adaptability: Field-selectable voltage to match power source of 12, 16, or 24 VDC
- 16 VDC Adapter Requirement: Adapter (P/N VA 7400-16VDC) needed for 16 VDC power source
- AC Power Conversion: 4603 Rectifier required to convert low voltage AC current to DC current of the same voltage. Contact factory for AC mode usage
